In my second deep meditation of the day, I found myself in a battle against the wise old man—a recurring figure in my visions, representing divine wisdom and guidance. This time, however, the stakes felt higher, the energy sharper, and the lesson buried within more profound.
The vision began with the old man effortlessly overpowering me. His strikes were precise, his movements filled with an otherworldly grace that left me stumbling, gasping for a foothold. At one pivotal moment, he summoned a blade shimmering with ethereal light and pierced it through my chest. The pain was overwhelming, yet in that moment of despair, I felt a deeper understanding emerging.
Collapsing onto the ground, I lay defeated. A dark pool of black liquid—the essence of sin, doubt, and human frailty—began to form beneath me, seeping out from my body as if all my flaws had been drawn to the surface. Yet, even in the depth of that darkness, I meditated. I searched for meaning.
The old man’s voice rang out, booming with a divine authority: “You are a god!”
With those words, something extraordinary began to unfold. The black liquid that had pooled beneath me began to glow, first faintly and then with a brilliant, vibrant blue light. It transformed, no longer a representation of sin but now a shimmering pond of purity and potential.
My lifeless body started to stir. My eyes, once dimmed by defeat, began to glow a radiant white, illuminating the abyss around me. My chest, once pierced and broken, filled with an overwhelming bliss as golden energy surged through my veins. I was reborn, not as the person I once was but as a higher version of myself—a divine being touched by the infinite.
The wise old man waded into the now sparkling pond, its water reflecting the transformation within me. He nodded approvingly, his eyes filled with both pride and serenity. I understood then that this battle had never been about defeat. It had been a lesson, an awakening, a moment of shedding the mortal doubts that chained me to my human fears.
He transported me to a vast abyss, its darkness endless except for the glowing platform beneath my feet. In the void, I felt infinite bliss. It wasn’t empty—it was full of possibility.
From the shadows emerged the goddess of a thousand faces, her presence radiant and comforting. Her lips agape she flashed a tender smile that melted away all remnants of doubt and fear. She approached me, embodying love, wisdom, and divine purpose.
Interpretation
This vision is a powerful metaphor for transformation, the shedding of limitations, and the realization of my inner divinity.
The wise old man represents the teacher archetype, someone who challenges me to evolve by confronting our deepest vulnerabilities. His blade piercing my chest symbolizes the breaking open of the ego, allowing space for divine realization to emerge. The pool of black liquid turning into a sparkling pond reflects the alchemical transformation of flaws into strengths, of sin into grace.
“You are a god!”—these words are not about arrogance but about recognizing the divine spark within me. I carry the potential for greatness, for transcendence, and for becoming my highest self.
The goddess’s appearance signifies the union of wisdom and love in the journey of enlightenment. Her approach in the void is a reminder that even in moments of darkness, I am not alone. There is always light, guidance, and a path forward.
This meditation demonstrates that surrendering to the process of growth, even when it is painful, leads to a profound awakening. The battle with the wise old man was not about winning or losing but about learning. And in that vein, my new self was born—golden, divine, and ready to step into the infinite.
